She received her Doctorate of Optometry with Honors in 2022 from the University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry. Dr. Schiltz began her career practicing in Colorado, where she provided comprehensive eye care to patients in rural communities while enjoying the outdoors with her husband, Mason. Her diverse clinical externships in the St. Louis area, combined with her experience practicing in rural Colorado, have equipped her with broad clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing a range of eye conditions. She is particularly passionate about pediatric eye care, as well as the management of ocular diseases such as glaucoma and diabetic eye disease.

Originally from Odell, Dr. Schiltz is excited to return to the area and serve the community she considers home. She will be seeing patients at our Pontiac location.

Outside of the office, Dr. Schiltz resides in Lexington with her husband Mason and their dogs. She enjoys reading, running, taking care of her plants, and spending time with her family.
